Mine-Wall and Metro-Wall represent a superior high impact mPVC pressure pipe range that is designed specifically for underground applications in mining and for water-reticulation in municipalities. Mine-Wall and Metro-Wall adhere to best practice and stringent safety standards and carry the SABS mark for SANS 1283.

In addition to the Mine-Wall and Metro-Wall pipe range, Marley offers a full range of fittings and accessories to form the full solution for your piping needs. Fittings and accessories include reducers, clamps, bends, tees, saddles, adaptors and couplings of varying sizes to match the pipes and are designed to provide optimal performance for high quality pipe connections.

Features and Benefits

Quick and Easy Maintenance
This range is easier and quicker to replace and maintain, with no need for thrust blocks.

No Corrosion
The range of products does not corrode in acid water and is unaffected by acidic or alkali
water found in mining conditions.

Low Mass
The mass is much lower than steel pipe and is therefore easy to handle, and contributes
significantly to higher rates of installation, quicker repair and maintenance.

Flammability
When exposed to fire, uPVC pipes will decompose only in the area in direct contact with
the flame and will cease when the heat source is removed, preventing the spread of fire.
The amount of smoke and toxic gas that is produced is dependent on the amount of uPVC
exposed to fire and the volume of air through which combustion products (which do not
include phosgene) may dissipate.

Smooth Bore
The smooth bore ensures high flow rates at low friction levels throughout the operating
life of the system. The smooth pipe wall is resistant to the buildup of deposits and is also
highly resistant to abrasion.

Flexibility
A high degree of flexibility enables the pipes to follow curves in haulage ways, often
without the use of additional fittings.

Impact Resistance
The pipes have a high resistance to impact damage.
